Parker a Must for Gunners

Two things were missing from Arsenal this campaign, leadership and experience.

And in Scott Parker they get both!

The veteran former Chelsea midfielder was the onfield leader for the relegated West Ham and his abscence over the past 2 months ultimately sent the hammers to the Championship.
At 30, Parker will more than likely be pursuing a move to a top Premier League club in pursuit of silverware at the backend of his career.

Parker's best attributes are his toughness, passing and postioning. His versitility would also serve Arsenal well in either the holding or attacking midfield role.
However perhaps his greatest contribution would be grooming and teaching Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey the tricks of the trade at the highest level.

As a die hard Arsenal fan I would love nothing more than to see the likes of Nasri, Walcott, Van Persie, Wilshere and Ramesy playing in unicen knowing that their's a tough clog parked behind them.

Together with the aquisition of a centre half ( Bolton's Gary Cahill or Blackburn's Christopher Samba.) A goal keeper and at least another speedy striker, the gunners may end their 6 year trophy drought in some style! Maybe even the treble?
